Busch Gardens = Sesame Street

January 26, 2012 in Uncategorized

Just a short drive south of the Kissimee/Orlando area in Tampa Bay is Busch Gardens. Sometimes when you head that way you are so focused on what is in the area you forget to look outside.  We decided we’d take the day and spend it here.  I’m so glad we did! This was certainly the favorite park the entire trip for many in our family. Continue reading “Busch Gardens = Sesame Street” »

Happy 7th Birthday!

January 20, 2012 in Uncategorized

Today the oldest princess turns 7, it’s hard to believe that kid is so old. My has time sure gone fast! From the time she was born she’s kept us on our toes, not quite as bad as Beans, but she certainly has quite the character. From ketchup parties at 2 to “Mrs. Justin Bieber” as she proclaims she’s changing more and more every day.  Happy Birthday Brook! Continue reading “Happy 7th Birthday!” »

A Day At The Beach

January 14, 2012 in Uncategorized

We knew we had to make sure to enjoy a day at the beach. We figured it would be just a tad bit cold, but the kids have never had that experience so we decided it was a must. So we packed up and headed about an hour south to Cocoa Beach.  It actually wasn’t that bad of a day about 80 degrees but the wind was in full force so it was a bit chilly that day, of course the kids didn’t mind a bit and had a great time. Christmas At Seaworld

January 13, 2012 in Uncategorized

I think Seaworld was probably my favorite place we went the entire time we were there. We went on a Sunday so I figured it would be packed but it was actually quite nice. The atmosphere there was just completely different, we were able to take our time, the staff was fantastic, and the wait times were nil. While we were at the stingray exhibit one of the care takers of them came over and told us all about them and gave them each a tooth she had dug out of the water, kinda weird but the kids thought it was soo cool. Just a whole new kinda crew around there for sure! Continue reading “Christmas At Seaworld” »

Fantasy World Resort Pt. 2

December 29, 2011 in Uncategorized

So I was already to a point I was tired of reading on the last post so I felt the need to add in a second one just to tell you about their new water area. Rest assured there will also be a third later in the week about their on-site indoor surf area, Fantasy Surf. We could have most certainly skipped all of the parks if we wanted to and just hung out at the resort. We were a bit worried considering the time of year their typical high is around 75ish, however we happened to go and it was a warm and sunny 80 all week. The kiddos were able to swim day and night. One night we came home from what ever we were doing early just so the kids could hang by the pool. This ladies and gentlemen was why we never wanted to come home. Townhouse vs. Hotel

December 28, 2011 in Uncategorized

Finding accommodations for 6 people can become a small but mighty chore. Most places will only accommodate up to 5 on a good day so we have to end up with suites most of the time which can become quite pricey, especially when you’re looking for a stay for an entire week. Fortunately the Kissimmee area is extremely family friendly so we were able to find a townhouse that fit us nicely. Continue reading “Townhouse vs. Hotel” »

2012 Disney Film Release Schedule

December 28, 2011 in Uncategorized

Kids movies seem to rule the house around here, I think I usually know more about them than I do for adults. Disney has released their 2012 Movie Release schedule which appears to be filled with some classic remakes like Beauty & the Beast and Finding Nemo in 3D and a few other new kiddo movies but also a new Marvel Avengers movie for the adults! I also love all of their nature movies like Chimpanzee, these always turn out to be such great fun but educational movies.

Check out the entire release schedule:

January 13: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST 3D, also in Disney Digital 3D

February 17: THE SECRET WORLD OF ARRIETTY

March 9: JOHN CARTER, also in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D
