Busch Gardens = Sesame Street

Just a short drive south of the Kissimee/Orlando area in Tampa Bay is Busch Gardens. Sometimes when you head that way you are so focused on what is in the area you forget to look outside.  We decided we’d take the day and spend it here.  I’m so glad we did! This was certainly the favorite park the entire trip for many in our family.

The park is laid out very well-  there is at least one area for each age group and of course the bigger rides are more laid out around in various areas.  I was impressed they had  designated areas for preschoolers and school aged children. Most parks the preschool aged rides are skipped or they can ride with an adult on some of the bigger kid rides.  At Busch Gardens they have a Sesame Street Safari of Fun section that is full of rides and things to do specifically for the preschoolers, Brooklynne was sad because a couple she wanted to go on she was too big for.

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

For the girls and I we spent most of our time hanging out in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area at Busch Gardens. Fortunately, Brook doesn’t quite think she’s too old for all of them and of course Jillian thought she was in Zoe heaven. From rides to shows, character experiences to 4D movies they have quite the set up for your preschoolers to interact with some of their favorite characters with plenty of room for everyone. And the shops lets not forget them we walked out with a signature book and more Zoe merchandise (book, stuffed, stickers, and something else) than I particularly cared for but it was her money.

Busch Gardens did an awesome job catering to the whole family. The boys were able to go off for most of the day and do whatever it was they did, we only saw them maybe an hour all day; and the girls and I were able to do the things the girls wanted to do. Overall I’d say this was probably the best park for the entire family.  Well worth the drive!
